Tourist visiting Corbett National Park will not have to be disappointed due to the safari seat not available or booking being full. In view of the increasing trend of tourists, the new Ringora Zone or Garjia safari zone in Corbett now started for safari from November. Girija is new safari zone being added which is now available for tourists for enjoying safari. So far tourism safari zone in Corbett National Park include Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela, Durgadevi, Sitabani and Pakhro. Being a limited safari seats, the Corbett administration has opened the Girija tourism zone for tourists. During peak tourism season many wildlife lovers get disappointed as they do not get chance to enjoy safari. However, the practice of opening new zone was pending for a long time.
Garjia is a very popular jungle area of the picturesque Jim Corbett National Park. This tourism zone is enriched with a large variety of floral and faunal species. When the tourist’s preference in terms of safari is concerned Garjia gives a tough competition to Dhikala tourism zone. The zone is popular for its wonderful landscape and it is very cool and calm place. The dense forest and its natural beauty is admired by visitors. This region is one of the most tiger reach area of the Corbett Park.
Overview
The greater part of the Bijrani Zone of Jim Corbett National Park is known as the Ringora Zone, which includes a large number of Grassland that is known as tiger hunting. , Fall into the Ringora zone. The Bijrani Zone is of great importance in Corbett National Park, due to which the importance of the Rongora Zone also increases due to being part of the Bijrani Zone. In Jim Corbett National Park, Ringora Zone has been made new for Jeep Safari on November 15, 2020, in which 15 15 Jeeps are allowed for Safari in two shifts in the morning.

The pleasant climate in the park makes it an ideal tourist spot all year-round, but the best time to visit Jim Corbett National Park is in winters. During that time, you can conveniently check out the length and breadth of the sanctuary and have fun exploring. You can also come in during the summers.
In Corbett Tiger Reserve, minimum temperatures can reach as low as 2°C, in the months of December and January while the maximum temperature during the months of May and June reaches as high as 42°C.

There are 5 major zones that the park is divided into – namely, Bijrani, Dhikala, Jhirna, Dhela, and Durga Devi. A jungle safari is the most exciting activity for any traveler during a visit to Jim Corbett National Park.
Permits are issued for a particular zone. The safari is permitted only the zone is booked for. The four zones shall remain out of bound for the visitors.
There are no cancellation/refund for any permit issued on this website under any circumstances and no request shall be entertained for refund/rescheduling of permit.
Visitors to Corbett National Park can do two safaris in a day, one in the morning shift and other during the afternoon shift.
It is mandatory to be accompanied by a Registered Guide/Naturalist during visits to Corbett Tiger Reserve. The Guide fee for each safari to be paid directly to the Guide at the end of the visit. Guides shall be available at the entry point at Amdanda and Jhirna
Registered safari vehicles can be hired by tourists from near Ramnagar Reception Office or Amdanda Gate. No advance booking facility is available for hiring of vehicles for visits to Corbett Tiger Reserve.
A maximum of six persons, excluding the mandatory Guide and registered Driver, are allowed in a vehicle during the safari on one permit.
Children up to five years of age are exempted from entry fee
Authorized study tours of students belonging to educational institutions, schools, colleges, and universities shall be charged 50% of the entry fee subject to prior information. This facility shall be allowed to an institution only once a year and shall be limited to only one visit. Students/trainees, trainers and support staff of the training and research institutions of different State Forest Departments and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India will be eligible for free entry.
Government Issue Entry Permits, are must for entering Corbett Tiger Reserve tourism zones. For day visits now permits can be obtained online now filling the FORM by CLICK HERE at the respective Entry Gates. However permits for night halts are issued at the CTR Reception Office at Ramnagar.
Jim Corbett National Park is the sole national park in India that offers night stay inside its Jungle.Dhikala FRH, Sultan FRH, Sarpduli FRH and Gairal FRH in Dhikala Zone, Bijrani FRH and Malani FRH in Bijrani Zone, Jhirna FRH in Jhirna Zone.
All rooms are provided with double beds and basic amenities. A twelve bed dormitory at Dhikala and an eight bed dormitory at Gairal are also available. Electricity is not available at any of the FRHs except at Dhikala. Some campuses have a limited Generator backup.

For foreign nationals, some facilities can be booked up to 90 days in advance. All reservations are provisional in nature and are subject to modification/cancellation by the Field Director, Corbett Tiger Reserve without assigning any reasons.
Bijrani forest rest house has canteen facility for meals and beverages. Apart from breakfast , lunch and dinner canteen also serves tea, coffee and snacks. All meals are veg meals and available as per canteen timing.
At other places kitchen facility is provided for cooking, for which guests need to take their own rations. The room attendants can provide necessary help in cooking.

Visitors are not allowed to trek, cycle or walk inside Corbett Tiger Reserve except at few designated places. … Night safaris are not allowed inside the Tiger Reserve.
Visitors are allowed to move only in designated vehicles in Corbett Tiger Reserve with a registered Nature Guide/Naturalist. Always keep a safe distance from wild animals. One should refrain from teasing wild animals and should never try to feed them. Getting off the vehicle and moving on foot is strictly prohibited. These are punishable offences. First-aid box is mandatory in all the vehicles. Winter garments are advised during the months of December and January. It is always advisable to follow the instructions of the Guide and adhere to the Do’s and Don’ts. Sitting firmly inside the vehicle, remaining watchful to any dangling branches, avoiding touching of plants, eating of leaves/fruits and obeying all rules and regulations are important for your own safety. Please be well informed about such rules and regulations before entering Corbett Tiger Reserve.
All the adult visitors are required to produce any one of the following identity cards (Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Govt. Employee Card, Passport and Student ID) on demand by officials of Corbett Tiger Reserve for verification at the entry point and whenever asked.
The Tiger Conservation Foundation for Corbett Tiger Reserve is a registered society under Society act, formed as per the provisions of Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. The foundation accepts contributions from willing persons/organizations for the various activities including welfare of the staff of Corbett Tiger Reserve and for various associated management activities.
All contributions must be sent through Crossed Cheque or Demand Drafts drawn in favor of The Secretary, Tiger Conservation Foundation for Corbett Tiger Reserve.
