How is Jhirna Zone In Jim Corbett?

The Jhirna Zone consists of large open grasslands. The topography mainly consists of deciduous type with secondary forest. There are natural streams inside the Jhirna Zone. The streams beds are warm and accessible for exploring. This zone is a good spot for bird watchers. Situated at the southern edge of the Corbett Reserve Park, the Jhirna tourism zone offers some exclusive tiger and sloth bear sighting along with the spectacular view of the landscape which is pretty rich in wildlife. consists of a large Grassland (Chaur) known as the Laldhang Chaur. This big Chaur is the favorite place for the herbivores of the zone like deer, chitals, nilgai and elephants
